The pool at Llantilio House is one of (approximately) a hundred chemical free swimming pools around the world using the mineral+biome® system. This is a natural filtration system which uses bacteria and minerals (such as zinc, magnesium and selenium) to purify the pool water rather than traditional disinfectants (salt, chlorine, bromine etc). The result is a healthier swimming experience which is better for your body, skin, hair and the environment.
Our hot tub is also filtered using the mineral+biome® system with a little H2O2 (Hydrogen peroxide or ‘active oxygen’ in spa jargon) as it runs above 32 degrees.
However for something altogether more bracing you may wish to try our cold drench shower and plunge pool before warming back up in the sauna and enjoying the views over the valley.
